im curious cotto show another style against mosley it was a good display of boxing and speed and it was damn good...he barely went to the body and he was counter punching great.

do u think cotto has a different game plan against his adversaries flaws or underestimation???

I think it's evident that he's skilled and versatile. Not crafty though. Crafty would be a Bernard Hopkins, or a James Toney.

he always has been,he's a smooth dude but his fights of recent memory never let him showcased that, cause like tito he was just a left hooker, cotto, counter punched in most of his early fights.

exactly u saw the highlight cotto counter punching was sick but because much of his recent fights he has gone so much to the body and most of his KO'S has been body punching i was just amaze he did a different thing to mosley.

Crafty fighters use deception and I think Cotto has some of that.

            It's starting to show.

But primarily I see him as a consistant striker. He's very good at scoring. He sees the openings, and he has nice timing.

He's great at pushing in an extra 2 or 3 shots to surprise and disarm his opponents. His combos are superb.

Everything is a hard punch.. Things are really clicking.

No doubt Hopkins was impressed. I'm suprised he didnt big up his business partner. About Cotto boxing, I watched the Pinto fight again leading up into the fight, and that's the one that really convinced me Cotto would win. He used the same style in that fight.

Cotto has good boxing skillz but what he did in the later rounds against mosley was more a stay away style then boxing. If you look at his fight with Levmore Ndou you will see he found out that if he cant hurt or take out he will start moving away.
