David Haye: "I Want a Shot at Wladimir Klitschko"

I don't understand why some people find it so outlandish that Haye could potentally beat Klitschko. The fellow has just become the best cruiserweight in the world and has 19 KOs from 20 fights. Yes it's very early to talk about Klitschko and Haye should prove himself with a couple of fights against good heavyweights first, but it would appear to me that a guy with Haye's speed and power, along with his decent size, could on paper upset Klitschko.Comment

Haye "I want a Shot at Wladimir Klitshcko" translates to "I want to get knocked the **** out by Wladimir Klitschko"I could see him possibly winning a title against old ass Maskaev or Ibragimov. I haven't seen too much of Chagaev to give an opinion. Basically everyone but Wladimir. Haye-Valuev would be interesting

hello? punching power will not have the same effect on bigger men. how many cruiserweights have shown the same power against heavyweights once they moved up? it remains to be seen whether haye will be able to hurt even small mediocre heavies. its going to be an uphill battle for him. he's been dropped and hurt by cruisers. he's going to have to big time improve his defense or so much as a grazing right hand or left hook from a klitschko will knock him out. add to the fact that wlad will have an easier time landing on haye as opposed to haye being able to reach him
That fact that Haye had to boil down to make weight and has done so for much of the past 3 years I think his power and chin will improve.
He is also well over 6 feet tall, and has hand speed that will remain with his raise in weight.Comment
