I think an over the hill Jones is still to much of a risk for Joe the slapper.

(A level? Roy is shot to bits, I really wish he would get out for his own health)
Roy is definitely not shot. People keep saying that because he is considerably far gone from his prime. But he is still a contender and top 10 talent at 175.

Roy is an old man who relied on speed, who still has speed and some pop, but not much activity or footwork anymore. He is aged, but not shot.

dito, i would go along with that, and thats why Joe wont risk it, easier option in fighting a blown up middle in Hopkins.

I agree. I would put some points on Roy if he fought Joe.

Wales, like the rest of the UK, has lots of hills so surely Joe is more over the hill?

Yeah you may bet on Roy just to get some odds, but your chance of winning will probably be lower than the good odds you will get. Hops has a better shot to beat Joe than Roy does.

a few more defeats for Jones before Joe the Bottler takes the chance.

60/40 split plus a fight in wales? If Roy sucks so bad, then why doesent Joe take this easy payday?
