Why are you cherry picking what I said when you understand perfectly what I mean? Floyd was already ranked for being a champion for so many years, so a title shot was inevitable, but I'm merely saying (probably in the wrong words by calling him an "eliminator") that Sharmba was a good solid test to see how Floyd performed at Welter before he got to Judah. And Sharmba really isn't a bum, and never has been. He's shot now, but when Floyd fought him, he was only slightly past it, mainly as a result of the beatings from Tszyu.
is mayweather a coward if he dont fight cotto next???

I think you are actually right... Mayweather didn't need an eliminator to get a shot at Judah.
However, it was probably just a warm-up fight, so he could see what the 147 division was like.
Manny Pacquiao fought some piece of **** named Hector Velazquez, his record was 42-10-2. Ridiculously impressive.
Everyone takes warm-up fights, get over it.Comment

first of all, wat is so big about beating mosely, when floyd beat oscar it was shat all over, saying oscar was old, and floyd ran away from him, but really shane is older than oscar(by 16months) and cotto is even younger and stronger than floyd, and didnt win 100% in some peoples eyes much like floyd didnt in some peoples eyes but ANYWAY back to your point bud
It depends really, if floyd doesnt fight cotto, and then fights guys with really no chance of winning the fight, or just for money then yea he is scared, if he doesnt fight cotto and takes on big fights and dangerous ones, like moving up in weight to fight a taylor, or giving winky wright a fight, then no he is not a coward, although winky wouldnt really be a draw, cotto would be much bigger fight, and taylor fight is a bit of a fantasy fight for people who wanna see floyd move up to much and lose to a bigger guy, but if he fights paul williams or kermit then no he isnt scared, because he is taking big fights against much bigger guys, who prob hav more power than cotto and have better chance to beat him because of their respective stylesComment

I have a question for you Floyd haters. Why do you want to see Floyd fight Cotto? Why would this fight be any different from his fight with DLH? Compare Cotto and DLH: Both have good stiff jabs, decent right hands, and great left hooks. However, Oscar has better movement, better defense and more experience. I also would say Oscar is still the more dangerous puncher (considering one-punch power). You already know that Floyd is going to stick and move all night and beat Cotto on points. In what way do you really think Cotto would win?Comment

Sorry, this forum doesn't allow reason... You are going to have to give 100% props to Cotto and none to Mayweather from now on.first of all, wat is so big about beating mosely, when floyd beat oscar it was shat all over, saying oscar was old, and floyd ran away from him, but really shane is older than oscar(by 16months) and cotto is even younger and stronger than floyd, and didnt win 100% in some peoples eyes much like floyd didnt in some peoples eyes but ANYWAY back to your point bud
