David Haye fights Jean Marc Mormeck in Paris tonight for the WBC cruiserweight title, and I'd love to see him win. But if he does, he can't be considered the best in the world until he takes on WBO world champion Enzo Maccarinelli. Big Mac had another crushing win on Saturday night, and is one of the most improved boxers in the country. I've offered Haye a no-strings attached fight against Enzo.
First of all he is a comedian with regards to his reference that Haye can't be considered the best if he doesn't fight Enzo.
Truth is Frank he just beat the recognised undisputed champ in his own backyard.
Secondly its not hard to have a crushing win against another no-named opponent.
And thirdly why didn't you offer a no strings attached deal when the possible fight was being negotiated months ago?
Too little too late Frank.
Haye has proved he doesn't need to pad his record and follow the tired old routine of fighting nobodies for 30-40 fights before reaching the top.
Maybe you might just learn from this lesson.
But I doubt it.
