ES was to make Taylor jab more effective but the problem when ES took control JT was not using his jab much

if he did he would have won many of this fight with easy he got pretty good reach

Seen it coming, I've never seen a fighter get under Steward's skin the way Jermain did by disobeying his orders on a consistent basis. I think the split is better for both men involved, it frees Steward up and gives him time to focus more on devolping Kermit Cintron and Andy Lee, and it puts Jermain back in the hands of his original trainer Nelson, who was always a better fit for Taylor in my estimation.

Hopefully going back to Nelson can aleviate some of that pressure Taylor had on him, and he can start anew with a fresfh mindset fully focused on the rematch with Kelly Pavlik.

Pat Burns was his trainer, not Ozell, he was just an assistant/father figure.

I know it's easier said than done, to execute orders in the ring, that someone else gives you that's not in the ring, but Klitschko does it very well, and for whatever reason Taylor never did.
