    Rule Brittania!!!

I really can't remember a better time to be a boxing fan in Britain.

We have champions from Crusierweight down to super- featherweight.

Calzaghe, Haye, Witter, Rees, Maccrinelli, Arthur, Woods, with at least 3 of these being the undisputed best of their division.

The general thought of "boxing is dying" perhaps may be true in the states but not over here in europe and esspecially not in Britain.

exactly mate, i wonder where we are now P4P in terms of country size and current world champions?? must be pretty high im guessing. Im looking forward to Haye stepping up to heavy to see what he can do there against the big boys. If hatton can pull off the upset on december 8th it will possibly be the best every year for british boxing

which world champions do we have at middle, Lt middle, welter, light and super feather weights then?

we have two at Cruiser, Enzo and Haye (who is giving up his titles soon), Woods at LHeavy, Calzaghe at SMiddle, Witter and Rees at LWelter and thats it i think.

i agree that's british boxing is in great shape, maybe the best it's been for ages, but we dont have world champs from Cruiser down to SuperFeather.

Alex Arthur isnt world champion, although he might be soon as well as Amir Khan.

We also did really well in the World Amatuer Championships in Chicago last week. Frankie Gavin won gold and looks like he could be a star in the future.
