Does the Mosley that beat De La Hoya beat Cotto?

Shane made it a close fight and he had his moments but to me he definitely looked his age.

If Shane was 7 years younger he would have beaten Cotto no doubt.

I think the Tyson that beat Spinks definitely gets a UD on Cotto. That's just me though.

Couple guys I think would beat Cotto.......

The Joe Frazier that beat Ali.

The George Foreman that beat Joe Frazier.

And of course, the Carlos Baldomir that beat Zab Judah.

Of course. You can make a case that the slightly slower, slightly less accurate, less active and slightly less focused 36 year old Shane won last night.. It's a given that the Mosley that beat DLH would crucifix Cotto..

truth is when shane was 29, Cotto was 20 and I believe was coming back from a career threatening car accident. It is not fair to compare times, because even as good as Mosley was, right now Cotto is bigger and stronger than that Mosley at 135. I think it is what it is, Cotto beat a 36 yr old Mosley, and we can wonder and speculate, but will never know.

If you're talking to me, please.. Cotto's at the stage in his career where Mayweather was when he fought Gatti. I honestly believe that if Cotto fought PBF how he fought Mosley, it would be easy work. Mayweather doesn't need Cotto or Arum at this point; they both need him.. He's the #1 Welter Weight, not to mention p4p fighter in all of boxing.
