Cotto controlled the fight in the early rounds leading up to about round 7 or 8. Mosley was the one coming forward and trying to press the action and Cotto was picking his spots and looking better, and when they decided to trade it was Cotto that always landed the clearer more telling blows.

People ***** about Cotto running in the 11th and 12th but I saw a different picture, I saw Cotto countering effectively in the 11th and gave him the round. The 12th I gave to Mosley. People also forget that early on it was Mosley doing all of the running and clinching.

I've only seen one source who scored it for Mosley.

People say it could have gone either way, but if that were the case we should be seeing a lot more people scoring it for Mosley. There is such thing as a clear 115-113 win. I cant imagine Mosley winning more than six rounds.

well said fella i watched it in a drunken stouper (it was pretty late/early here in the uk) and either way id have been happy with the result, im glad cotto won tho as hes got a good few years left in him but no shame in Moseley's efforts he showed that he can still compete at the very highest level.

Some people just arent comfortable with the fact that cotto is, in fact, one of the elite at 147. Probably because they have been hugging some other fighters nuts or have been ragging on Cotto ever since his fight against Corley (which they probably only read about on the internet anyway). For many, Cotto is just the fighter they love to hate. Now that Cotto has proven his power, chin and his boxing with one of the best I guess crying "robbery" is all there is left to do. I had cotto ahead by at least 1 round, possibly 2. 3 judges and lederman had it for Cotto. Unless it's a shutout or a kayo any internet boxing specialist capable of picking his nose could type "robbery". Maybe it's easier to do than giving an elite fighter the credit he deserves.

If anybody got a "beating" it was Mosely. Did you see his jaw? It looked broken to me. In any event Shane was injured. This explains his respect for Cotto's power.

I had it 116-114 for Mosley (round 10 even), but it was a very close fight so I don't really mind the outcome.

Negative. You go watch the fight again as you are clearly the one that needs to come to terms with reality.
