After 1 watch, Cotto in my opinion won like 8 rounds, showed he has another dimension and is not just an out an out slugger who brings pressure - something i and the rest of his true fans knew from his AM and Early career!
I am not above changing my opinion on fights and will watch again but it seems to me peeps who picked Mosley and think he won are either in Denial or are just COMPLETE HATERS!

Addison ur a HELLUVA poster and u got my respect to the Full but i watched it on my own (bar my girl who wanted shane to win) and only had a few beers and I Consider my self a non Biased spectator even tho im an avid Cotto fan! Bare in mind im a Mosley fan too, i just thought it was Cotto CLEARLY and that he had more to give if he had too!
That said i'll watch again and see if i change my mind - it wouldnt be the 1st time but im CERTAIN I got this right dude

I don't totally disagree. I think Cotto nudged it too after one viewing.

But when I hear RWK and MightyMike and others making their arguments they are very passionate and convinced. I guess that makes it not a slam dunk.

Cotto in my mind deserved the win, but he barely beat him.

You have to flip what you're scoring in this fight because both guys were doing the same stuff at different times. It's hard to say who was doing what more. But Cotto clearly landed the cleanest shots and more of them. There are other things that get scored of course.

Still, I'll watch it again today if I can. You may hear back from me that I am completely positive Cotto won.

Yeah Cotto fought smart and didn't waste much. Shane did a great job of taking away the body by clinching and smartly avoiding body shots. The early part of the fight was down right brutal and exciting.

It is certainly a gratifying win, especially for the posters who have been following him for a long time.

Yeah he did take the body attack away pretty much, i think he was Shocked at Cotto's tactics, he musta thought he'd come out like the Zab fight! Im just Chuffed as **** coz i made cash off the fight at the Bookies!

In all fairness Cotto won that fight by 2 points IMO. I picked Mosley to win but I know damn well he wasnt robbed (like some posters on here say) Cotto really showed me that he has some thunder behind his shots and is able to box. Its going to hard to beat Cotto now that he has some boxing skills.

I wonder will they have a rematch because this first fight was very tough for both of them.

No surprises here. Cotto hit him with those pulled back tight wrapped 8oz. gloves a mountainload.

Watching that as a Mosley supporter was moving. You knew Shane could take 10,000 of those and never fall. He was strong. I felt safe.
