What an EMBARRASMENT for boxing.
Im sitting in the mezzanine level and i hate Casamayor, so maybe my view isnt the best, but i dont think Casamayor won a single round!!!
I mean, its **** like this that DEFINES whats wrong with boxing.
A fighter can work for months in camp, suffer pains me and you will never have to suffer, and work harder then me and you will ever have to work.
Then they have the balls to climb up in the ring even when they are a 2-1 underdog.
Then fight their asses off in the fight of their life.
To not get the decision can RUIN a fighters moral. Why go through the motions, or a monotnous training camp AGAIN when you might not even get the decision in a fight u won???
And i hate this investigation bull****. the best that comes from that is a rematch, and why should a fighter be forced into a rematch when he won the fight period. The kid should enjoy being a champ, and enjoy the glory and attention that comes with it.
That really left a bad taste in my mouth for the fights
