cotto is stronger than hatton so his style isn't in favor of him in a match,cotto is jose luis castillo with better boxing ability combinations and a lesser chin,that said i would love to see cotito fight both

I see no reason for either to be afraid of Cotto. They both believed Shane was the better fighter like many of us here did.

People talk about guys being scared too much. Floyd is the undefeated P4P #1 guy in the sport and just beat Oscar at 154 so I seriously doubt that he is scared of Cotto. Hatton is undefeated with wins over big strong guys like Tszyu & Castillo, and also has a nice win over a very good Collazo at 147 so I also seriously doubt that he is scared of Cotto either. Infact, I bet that Hatton would think that Shane is truly the harder fight for him.

I think they legitmatly thought Shane would win. 1st you have to look at the 2 guys who picked and what there history is on picks. Floyd is a guy who usually always goes with the figher who has been there and done that. Floyd also hates it when the media falls in love with guys and diss him so thats another reason why he would pick against Cotto. Hatton had a very tough win over Collazo and Shane easily beat him so thats why I think Hatton picked Mosley

i think floyd rather fight shane than to fight miguel but i don't think anyone of them will beat floyd miguel probably seems like more of a threat and as for hatton he probably was just stating his oppinion. shane and miguel would both wash him up
