I think Kellerman just has a bias towards slick boxers.

Much like Merchant has a bias against them, if they make fights boring.

Everyone sees rounds differently, and Max gives more weight to those who hit and aren't hit, even if that means counterpunching, than most.

Merchant, on the other hand, gives close rounds to the guy who is pressing the fight.

    Nothing wrong with either.

Lederman doesn't really have a consistent scoring criteria IMO.

I agree... Kellerman seemed like he was on his period tonight. I thought he and steward would come to blows after the fights. Manny looked disgusted at points when Kellerman wouldnt concede the point that Mayweather does not deserve the ring title if he ducks Cotto.

Old Black Man vs Young White Nerd... Who wins?? I got to give it to the brotha...

I didn't get to hear the commentary, but I could tell he favors the faster fighters. He favored Hopkins in the first Taylor fight. It's all what you prefer and how you think rounds are won when fights are this close. I saw this fight very close. Coulda been a draw or Cotto by one round. I had Cotto 115-113.

Ummm... Taylor was the faster fighter. Hopkins was the sharper more polished and experienced fighter...

Slick was the word I was looking for. Pardon me.

That's a fair analysis, IMO. I'd give ya good K if I could.

I really don't see how Lederman gave the last round to Cotto.
