Cotto absolutely embarrassed Shane imo. I conceded the fight to Cotto by the end of the 5th after looking at Shane's face in the corner. Didn't look confident about what was going on out there at all, and he was already showing fatigue. Credit to Mosely for switching to plan B and the odd role reversal at the end, but he just looked a bit outmatched outside of that. Cotto showed better D, fought smarter (who would've thunk it) and had the edge in power and agility from my perspective as well. There's no way for Sugar to come back from this, all that training and he was still exhausted well before the late rounds and was incoherent on offense. The Shane that was in there tonight can't beat any elite welter, probably would lose to Oscar if they fought again too.
Just finished picking my chin up off the floor

Yeah Cotto had the speed advantage oddly. He beat Shane to the punch. But Shane came on and I thought he was winning the second half of the fight.Comment

He did in my book. I had a good feel for the fight and Shane just wasn't in control of it for the most part. Don't get me wrong I wanted him to win, just how i feel about it.
I did see the entire fight btw, I had a pulse on who would win after 5.Last edited by Haglerwins; 11-11-2007, 01:17 AM.Comment
