yeah he did talk alot of **** about cotto but so did alot of other people. i didn't think the fight was close i only gave shane 3 rounds and before the ninth round all shane really did was clinch and in round 7 and 8 he looked like he was running

Shane abused clinching a LOT in this fight. If he wouldn't have clinched so much, Cotto might have been able to unload massive punishments, but everytime Cotto tried to unload, Mosley clinched. Everybody here knows im right.

Was it a shutout for Cotto? No? So that means that Shane mounted some sort of offense, right? Oh really? He won 5 rounds with his effective offense? So that means Addison had some good points about how Mosley would be able to get to Cotto, right? Good.

Why is it not enough that your fighter won? I could certainly understand this **** if Addison got on here and started talking **** or making excuses or something, but he hasn't even posted on here yet after the fight. Just take your victory and leave this **** alone.

I definitely think Cotto's smart enough. He can adjust in fights, and has shown the ability to do so before. If he loses it will be because he cant overcome Mosley's physical advantages (hand speed, one punch power, foot speed, long reach etc.).

Cotto can use his jab effectively if he gives Mosley angles, and has him on his back foot. If Cotto doesn't use tactical aggression (hands up, cutting off the ring, jabbing inside) he'll get countered and possibly knocked out. If he lets Mosley dictate the pace, he'll get overwhelmed and possibly knocked out. What he needs to do is be cautious on the outside, use his jab, show head movement, and cut off the ring.

If Mosley comes forward a lot, which imo will be where he's at his most dangerous, Cotto needs to keep those hands up and not stay stationary. Once he gets inside, he neutralizes Shane's speed, and can go to work. In the later rounds Mosley would become less dangerous, not because of his age, but because he'll be taking hard punches consistently on the inside. Yes, some will stray low, yes some will land on the back. Then in the later rounds, I expect the uppercut to land for Cotto and really wear Mosley out.

It's a tall order sure, but I seriously think he can do it. At the same time, it wouldn't shock me if he didn't because he is going to get hit, and he will have to absorb big punches again. There's my explanation though.

I was wrong about the bold, Mosley was a true Champ, showed excellent resilience. My only worry about this fight was Cotto taking Mosley's punches, and he took them fine.

The only robbery in this night was the Casamayor robbery. THat was ****ing bull**** at it's finest. No. Mosley-Cotto was NOT a robbery, it could have been either way. Had Mosley won it would have been understandable.

A draw would have been understandable.

But dont say it's robbery.

What the ****. . Cotto did not run most of the time.. He Box on the later rounds... Mayweather run from round 1-12..

Mosley was also on a clinch everytime and also run away in the middle rounds..
