Mayweather will avoid Cotto like the plague. And I'm not saying that as either a Mayweather hater or Cotto lover, because I'm neither. But the truth is Mayweather while clearly superior to Cotto in the ring, would be risking his entire legacy against Cotto. Who, while not highly crafty or evolved, could break Mayweather's will to win and cost him everything if given the chance.

One thing is for sure, Miguel Cotto is a superstar and he became one tonight, regardless of what "Money Mayweather" has to say about him. If Mayweather opts to continue fighting after Hatton, he better come up with a damn good reason for avoiding Miguel Cotto. And no more of this "I can't make no money against him" stuff.

After Hatton Floyd's $20 million opponets run out, you think he'd make that much bank against Williams or Cintron? Or Margarito? Or even Mosley after his loss tonight?
