alot of those right hands were looping and miguel had his hands up so you couldn't really tell if they were hitting glove back of head or face.everyone says he was hurt in the late rounds but don't know buy what so how do you know he was hurt?

Shane was gracious, but he didn't just conceed.

He suggested he thought it may have gone his way, actually.

I don't know if I agree with that, but that's what happened.

There is a difference between being a good sport, and admitting defeat. What I got from his interview was that he is not disappointed that the fighter with a future in the sport got the nod.

I dont think he feels he lost, I think he understands that it is better for the sport that Cotto won.

Well, IMO Cotto wasn't even hurt in the 9th when the ref stepped in. I just replayed the fight and I am even more convinced of this. And, clearly Mosely was hurt...it appeared to me that his jaw was broken. Perhaps this is why he was tentative and wouldn't really pull the trigger. IMO it had less to do with age and more to do with respect for Cotto's power.
