He took Mormeck's pressure better than I thought he would. The four rounds I saw were good.

I think the weight issue was a big factor but Haye has phenomonal power to overcome that luckily for him tonight.
One thing is for sure...he has heart and comes to FIGHT.
What more do you want from a Champ?
I predict more exciting fights to come from the big fella.

I am not to sure if he can take a HW punch flush. He did show tons of heart coming back from a KD to KO the champion. I sound like I am talking about Kelly Pavlik.

I dont know about suspect chin that shot was damn near perfect its like those ones that you practically cant even see connecting properly but its so perfect it'll take you out.

I only tuned in for the last couple rounds and going by the crowd i thought Haye was gonna lose, especially from the terribly sloooooooooow pace. Haye was pressured a lot by Mormeck from what i could tell but he was also wary of Hayes power.

When he KD'd Mormeck i was like "WHAAAAAAT THE F@@@@CK!!! ARE U SERIOUS".

Then i saw Mormeck looking around like he just woke up from a good nights sleep on the canvas and i was like "NOOOO F@CKING WAY". (mummy wasnt happy with my language).

Mormeck looked like there was a slight chance he couldve continued but he probably would have just turtled up and David would have just pounded him down again, so I think stopping the fight was the right choice.

Wasn't the showstopping "this guy is the real deal" performance but im still impressed. Still think Haye has a bit more to do before people will talk about him more though.
