    Does anyone know why ESPNClassic...

... always seems to hype up HBO PPV events the week before a fight? ESPNClassic is playing a Cotto fight tonight. I've seen them do it before also, I just can't remember who off the top of my head.

To promote a rival channels telecasts???

Listen, I know they make money... but pointing viewers in the direction of HBO is not the smartest idea for ESPN.

They should show better fights more often.

I'm tired of watching Holyfield vs Foreman for the trillionth time. Show some more current fights or something. Or atleast better fights. I think Versus shows better fights when they reair them, though it's all top rank fighters, but still.

Maybe HBO pays ESPN to put Cotto fights before fight night.

Classic is the closest thing we have to a boxing channel so it's all good.

I don't know... the sooner that someone watches HBO, the sooner they realize that ESPN telecasts suck nut.
