- A chiseled Shane Mosley and trim Miguel Cotto both weighed in exactly the same 146.25lbs for their big showdown on Saturday. Cotto won the stare down contest with his piercing eyes and Foreman like baleful stare. Mosley abdominals were unbelievable, they looked painted on. Cotto, although not as ripped as Mosley, looked in excellent physical condition.
There was some concern over Cotto's weight recently when during a workout he wore a plastic sweat suit. Today fears were dispelled when Cotto safely made the limit.
Former welterweight champion Antonio Margarito tipped the scales at today’s magic number of 146.25lbs. His opponent, Golden Johnson, weighed in a 1/2 pound over the limit in his first try. Currently trying to lose weight
Joel Casamayor - 134lbs Jose Santa Cruz 134.75lbs
Victor Ortiz – 141.50lbs Carlos Maussa – 142.5lbs – Maussa is ½ pound over the agreed weight, so he and Golden Johnson are both running a few laps.
