Calzaghe two more superfights to be a legend???

I think that Joe Calzaghe is the pound for pound best fighter there is today 10years world champion and now undisputed world champion. He has proven he is the best by first winning his first world title of eubank in which i think was his hardest fight then out classing Lacy and has just beat a good fighter in Kessler. I think he will fight 2 more fights before he retires. Hopkins should be his next fight which will make a good fight for calzaghe. Calzaghe will out class him in 12 rounds and take the decision. So whats next if he wins that bid superfight??? He will want to have a fight with a legend that will make him a legend and make his last fight special. To me i think there is only one other fight after this he can take after hopkins and it should be roy jones jnr. Roy jones jnr beat the best in his era in the 90's and is a legend. So this would be great if this happend in cardiff and i think alot of people would pay to see this great match.

I agree with you in parts, but absolutely no way would beating RJJ make Calzaghe a legend, RJJ is well past it. Joe needs to fight a young, hungry and dangerous fighter in America to become a household name over there. Only then will he be considered a legend. Kelly Pavlik maybe, if he wins his rematch with Taylor then people would sit up and take notice when Joe gave him his first loss, something Taylor would have failed to do twice. Maybe he could even fight Carl Froch at super middle or Clinton Woods at light heavy, although they wouldnt be great sellers in America. TBH Joe has only one viable option for superfights in America and that option is B-Hop. Unfortunately, after B-Hop makes another excuse not to fight Joe because he knows he will lose, Joe will have no option but to either retire or go back to fighting mandatories, and I would hate to see him resort to either.

I just wish Joe would have sorted the fights with RJJ & Hopkins out 5 years ago.
Even if it meant taking peanuts.
He is unquestionably the SMW King now.
But no matter what there will always be the question ....what if?
Even if it wasn't his fault.

who the **** cares about woods..
joe doesnt want anything to do w dawson..
its a little late to start to increase the opposition.. he had his whole career.. and now he elects to fight elite fighters..
i dont wanna hear this **** that every1 ducked him.. thats pure bull**** and we all know that..
he was only super confident since the lacy fight.. ever since then he thought he was the best fighter in the world..
i dont wanna hear any **** from these british ppl.. those are the facts.. live with them..

            bodog:
"Calzaghe has spent a great deal of time turning down fights and has never really maximized his position, at least on a worldwide basis. He hasn't really fought what could be termed a "who's who" of the other competitors in his division; indeed, you could list a number of guys he did not fight, including Markus Beyer, Sven Ottke, Anthony Mundine, Danny Green, Antwun Echols, Mads Larsen, Frankie Liles and others. Of course, some of that had to do with promotional conflicts, but it also has to do with the culture of the WBO, which allows a fighter to do that indefinitely if he has the right connections. I mean, when they let you fight the likes of Tucker Pudwill and Branko Sobot and Peter Manfredo in title fights, you are getting a free ride, for sure."
