    Will Hopkins Duck Calzaghe again?

Does anyone think bernard will get nervous again and double his demands just before the contracts are signed?

I can't see a bigger money or legacy fight for either of them. This'll happen.

This fight wont be a massive payday for either. Hopkins style is one of the ugliest in boxing and nobody wants to pay to see him anymore. Joe isnt big enough in the states to make this fight on his own. As for legacy, if Calzaghe wins he beat an old man, if he loses he lost to an old man. If Hopkins wins he beat an overrated fighter (Joe is by no means overrated, but the Yanks are never satisfied), and if he loses he is too old to fight anymore. Neither man can really gain in this fight, but Calzaghe still wants it. Hopkins knows damn well if he fights Calzaghe he will lose, he never fights anyone his own size because he cant bully them and then hes just a punch bag. For that siomple reason Hopkins will never take this fight. Would love to see the look on Hopkins face when he gets KO'd or loses a very wide UD, wouldnt suprise me if this was a shutout.

Not if it's in Yankee Stadium, it will be too cold to have a fight in Yankee Stadium in March or April, maybe in May or June.

Of course it will massive and both will earn plenty out of it. If Hopkins can earn $3m against Winky there's no doubt he'll earn more against Calzaghe. I can't see it being outdoors though ... they'd never sell the tickets.

Of course, if they wanted to generate the most money, this fight would be in the UK in the middle of the night. It won't be though.

At a quick guess, back in 2002 when he agreed terms for the fight and then backed out?
