    finally, styles make fights.

ike definitely would've had a chance. he had a marvelous jab and good right hand, which tito was vulernable to.
yeah but it is still a lose nobody will consider if he was a SFW or if he was coming down in weight.

if he got gifted or robbed but sometimes have a chance to shine when fighting superstar fighters like Vargas and DHL but he lost his chance. Yes even if he got robbed or close fight people dont remeber that when it comes after 10 year they will remeber Ike as a good fighter but not the best.

Tito was rolling high winning impressivly he was one of the p4p fighter and it hard to fight those guy enless you come out with couple of impressive wins to show you are worth it

but what does that have to do with ike having a chance against tito?

Everybody have a chance if you give them a chance and I think he has a chance if he has a good jab. Any fighter that jabs looks impressive and it is what differentate boxing with a street fight.

As for the guys Tito fought in that year, it complex when you are p4p fighter or title hold you can pick and choose you fighter enless if you fighter comes out with long strings of impressive wins so it will make you look bad if you didnt fight him.

don king was giving tito crappy fights, often on undercards. that's why his opposition from 95-98 was weak and tito was getting frustrated.

before you think of it Boxing is a business for some. Don King see Tito as an investment as Tito and not as a fighter. If Ike fough him he will make Tito look bad even though he is going to be KOed. I feel sorry how Don King used Mayorga as set up for ever fighter who want a comeback.

some fight is not easy to make it not like I want to fight you then the fight is on.

another thing when someone in the top he picks and chooses his oppenet and doesnt fight that often. Because for him to reach to the top he choose the guy who was previous in the top to choose his rules.

Quartey had one of if not the best left jab i have ever seen. if he boxed smart and stayed out of range of Tito's power, he could out box him. but if he traded with Tito, he would get murdered.

Agreed with most, except that Quartey could hit very hard and Tito was/is easy to hit, not sure about him getting murdered in an exchange.

DLh has always said that Quartey was the hardest hitter he ever fought, with tito's chun and Quartey's ****, you never know

Would of been a hell of a fight it's good to know people aren't underestimating Ike's ability back then because he was a beast. I think his jab and right hand would allow him to box Tito to a UD.
