I was reading in one of the articles that Miguel Cotto has only seen a couple rounds of Mosley fighting and isn't concerned with SSM but only with himself. This concerns me cause I would think you'd watch to watch some tapes to scout and see certain habits of the boxer you're about to face. Is it normal not to view previous fights of the boxer you're about to fight or is Cotto being dumb for not getting any small hints that could help him in the ring? Just curious on your thoughts.
Question about Cotto-Mosley

Not sure. But Mosley is taking the opposite approach. Mosley watches a lot of tape and studies a lot with his dad Jack. They showed it on the preview too I think.Last edited by Kobe Bryant; 11-08-2007, 01:56 PM. -
The issue has been debated a little bit here..
Evangelista Cotto is the one who does the tape work allegedly.
It gets filtered to Miguel Cotto through his trainers.
Mosley is going to be tough to scout for this no matter what.
Based on comments from Cotto and Bob Arum they've most likely brought in Carmen Basilio and Emile Griffith for sparring partners..Comment

I guess that makes it a little bit better but I don't understand why the boxer himself wouldn't want to see Mosley's fighting tactics. I'm going for Cotto but it shows a little bit of arrogance by him not seeing the fights. In My opinion of courseComment
