cool post iceman. i remember watching the fight between joe lipsey and bernard hopkins when i was like 12 or 13 or whatever. i also remember wiliam guthrie, anthony hembrick and obviously john scully. dont know the other dudes.

There were some good names in there.... Darin Allen beat SO MANY top fighters in the amateurs including Henry Maske, Al Cole, William Guthrie, Dennis Milton, Mylon Watkins, Leonzer Barber, Frank Tate, Steve McCrory, Anthony Hembrick (4 out of 6), etc. etc. We also fought twice, each winning once.

I remember watching Tuesday Night Fights with my brother on USA back in the day & we saw Booker T Word KO Anthony Hembrick. I've only seen that fight once in my life but I remember when that right hand connected. Boom!!! We knew Hembrick was finished after that shot. And he did all of this showboating before the fight dancing & all. I think Word won the USBA title in that fight.
