Santa-Cruz was beating David Diaz in almost every round until he got caught

Not saying that he has any chance against someone as experienced as Casamayor, but him handling David Diaz means that he is a pretty decent fighter. although it might also mean David Diaz isnt an amazingly talented fighter too but uh...

seriously, i like casa, but come on..since 2004 all hes done is beat a shot chico...

before that, he:

lost to chico

lost to castillo

drew with kid diamond

(beating 3 not world class guys in the process...)

Im actually thinking Santa Cruz will upset him...

I didn't see the Santa-Cruz vs. Diaz fight,but I did see him fight Cherry.He fought bravely and held on to come with the win.If he fights with that desire I believe he can with considering Casamayor recent fights!

Id pick santa cruz if it wasnt for his chin

hes younger, has decent power, throws and throws and throws... but man that chin.. I say its 50/50 if cruz dosent get caught early.

I don't know if he TRULY lost to Castillo, and he beat Corrales, two out of three, and was robbed against Acelino Freitas. He's got maybe one TRUE loss. THe Kid Diamond thing was a style match up thing. However, if you wanna put some points on Santa Cruz.... I'll have no problem with that.. lol.
