I think so. In my opinion, Floyd's weakness is the body and conveniently that is Cotto's forte so I think Cotto has a great chance of stopping Pity Boy Floyd.
Could Cotto KO Floyd?

Of course he could if he hit him with the right punch.
Do I think it would happen if they fought? Nope.Comment

He COULD but Floyd would be doing certain things with his hand while Cotto is trying to apply that pressure. I thinks it's called "punching".Comment

Cotto can take a hit and will get up.
It would all depend on how much cotto could take. because floyd would seriously hit him a million times.
But cottos will is huge and his determination is great. So I couldn't see as of right now mayweather knocking cotto out.
But if he couldn't get to floyd fast enough to knock him out Floyd would outpoint cotto and do it fairly easy.
so basically YRS he could knock floyd out.... but zab judah could have too and he IS faster than cotto. Oscar could have too.. and he is also faster than cotto. Hatton has the best body attack i've seen in a while... and he's faster than cotto. all these guys could knock Floyd out. I'm sure you see where im going so im done right there.Last edited by DA1CATAS; 11-08-2007, 02:28 PM.Comment

Of course he could knock him out. If Cotto caught just about anyone with the right punch he would Knock them out. I don't know if he could catch him though.
I am a Floyd fan but if Cotto wins against Mosely and he won't fight him then he is a fvking moron and I will lose a ton of respect for him. I don't care if Cotto is Arum's boy, if you want to be remembered as one of the greatest (like floyd does) then you have to fight the best. You can't let these bull**** politics get in the way. Him saying that there would be no money in a fight with Cotto is a ****ing joke.A fight between Cotto and Mayweather is any boxing fan's wet dream.
