Ricky has fast feet therefore will be able to close the distance very quickly. If he is in the best shape of his life to accomidate for a sustained pressure attack then i think he has a chance to pull it off.

Good post... But, do you think Floyd will be stationary like that punching bag? He has been one of the best in this era at dictating where in the ring the fight is and controlling the action...

I going to say He need to come jab come close grapple and push Floyd to the ropes as he does that grapple and left hook to the body.

But he will be using alot of energy and Mayweather uses his jab and being of the fight so that is the only possiable way I could think of and he is going to take couple of shots

I understand your point, Hatton will either look incredibly strong and bullying on the night or Floyd will be able to "tame" him and make him look ****** with catching him coming in and superior lateral movement to offset Ricky's attack. However the amount of dedication Ricky will put in to the fight of his life may prevail and we may see an upset.

That would be the idea... But, his reach is so much shorter that the jab could be easily countered by someone like Floyd... If I'm not mistaken Floyd's reach is like 72"... Hatton's reach is much shorter... And compared to Dela Hoya and Castillo fights, it's shorter than their's too..

Floyd uses his forearms and will get deducted apoint like in the Castillo fight. He cheats when pressured.

I agree... Only because anything is possible... But, Floyd has shown the dedication and desire to be the best ever... And we've all seen he loves attention... When all the attention is on him, he loves to perform... From what I know of Hatton, he has a extremely strong will to win, work ethic and dedication to be great... What separates Floyd from that is his extreme dedication to be the best and just his natural God given abilities...

but that is the only way I think he could beat Mayweather but it is going to be dirty for his side and I dont think he could go for 12 round like that. I is mostly dependent on pushing Mayweather and but sometimes he could lay on Mayweather shoulder when he is grappling is a good idea.

But still I would go with Mayweather in term of Mayweather agility is far better than any fighter Hatton faces and the Shoulder roll is going to deflect many of the left hooks Hatton going to hit and counter with an uppercut. AS Hatton put forward his with a left hook and his head is front he is going to eat a straight right.

So it mostly Mayweather advantage all the time the only way to win for Hatton is he could hit alittle grapple and push backward and I dont see it happening alot due to size difference, speed and reach.
