Harris Threatens To Pull Out Of Urkal Fight!

October 21, 2004 - October 21, 2004 3:00PM EST - WBA 140 lb champion "Vicious" Vivian Harris has just informed ********** that his rematch with mandatory challenger Oktay Urkal may be cancelled. Harris is threatening to pull out of the fight unless he and his team are able to come to agreements with how much of his purse he is actually entitled to. "Hear this, and hear it now. If these (people) don't stop playing with my money, I'm pulling out of the fight. It's that simple," an enraged Harris told ********** just moments ago. "In eight weeks, my purse has gone from $450,000 to now where I'm barely going to be taking home $60,000. **** that, I'm not fighting for people who are stealing my money, and are making more than I am. They need to straighten this out right now, or the fight is off. I don't give a **** if it means losing my title."The crux of the situation stems from an out of court settlement between Harris and Finkel, where Harris agreed to pay Finkel $125,000 to officially terminate their contract, thereby permanently severing ties between the two. Shrotly thereafter, Finkel demanded that Harris pay him an additional $10,000 to cover legal fees.

I bet he feels a silly **** now!! Problem Harris has is he doesnt play the game, you gotta give a little to get a return.

Gatti got chump change in the first Ward fight but he was happy, they put on a show and Gatti can get $3mil per bout now.

Harris has the talent but people dont like him, he's alway moaning about something, never seems to fight anymore which is a shame, he's not bad fighter.
