Just watched this **** for the first time. 2 observations:
1. Sam Soliman looked like the least skilled piece of **** ever in this fight. He probably was given a higher connect percentage than he deserved by HBO. My god, all this guy did was throw light ass punches, that didn't get close to actually catching Winky. And then he bitched about the decision. What a moron. I'm glad Bika knocked him out of The Contender.
2. Jim Lampley postively cracks me up on this telecast. I really am wondering if he was like tipsy or something that night.
Also, I thought it was priceless when Larry called Lederman out on not having a consistent scoring criteria. In the 4th round update with Lederman, Harold says that rounds are scored by who does the most damage to the other guy, period. In the 7th round update, Harold says that you you absolutely MUST give Winky lots of credit for his defense. Then Larry, being the **** he is, tells Harold that he thought rounds were scored solely on damage inflicted on the other guy.
Lederman: ...
....
.............................
Uhhh, yeah Larry, absolutely.
Larry: Well what about the defense then?
Lederman: Well, it's one of the four scoring criteria!
.................

..............
Lampley: WOAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AN INSIGNIFICANT PUNCH LANDED BY WRIGHT!!!!!!
Haha, I love when Lampley tries really hard to play the role of the peacemaker.
Anyone who doesn't have this fight should get ahold of it. It's entertaining, and literally the funniest fight I have ever seen.
