to all you who are obsessed with the idea that if this fight doesn't happen its Benard's fault, well i just read on another website that calzaghe is very close to signing a deal to fight woods if hopkins doesn't sign in 7 days. if calzaghe does that he is a ***** in my opinion.

Hopkins hasn't signed the papers the past 5/6 years, he never wanted a part of Calzaghe or so Hbo leads me to believe that.

Hopkins tactics wont worker against Joe, he will be overwhelmed by lots of punches and altough Hopkins is great at slowing down the pace of a fight. Still Joe throws so many punches and can sit down on punches when he needs to, and he throws from odd angles. I can see Hopkins trying to use his dirty tactics but by the middle rounds Joe will be all over him and really making bhop show his age.

E A S T S I D E boxing.com, woods is a waste of time, no one wants to see him fight calzaghe but woods. how is that an exciting fight? i know i would personally not be excited for it all and im sure many would agree. if joe wants to make sure he can maybe become a legend, then he better beat hopkins. even if he doesn't fight hopkins pavlik is a much better fight than woods. way more exciting, more money, and means more too (i dont care that he is a middleweight and woods is at lightheavy, u know im right). **** even taylor would be better than woods, who the hell cares about him? I agree with the closing comments in that article which urges caution about this story. But lets just all wait and see what develops.

You guys believe everything you hear. Just because calzaghe says benard ducked him doesnt mean its true. If i say calzaghe has been ducking me for the past 10 years will you guys believe me? Calzaghe has fought no one for 10 years of his reign, NO ONE!!!, until very recently. who's to say calzaghe hasn't been ducking people, or yeh because he said he hasn't. Don't blame it on Benard if the fight doesn't happen, the article i read says that calzaghe is in serious and deep negotiations with woods, and that just sucks if that's true. Don't sound like hopkins is the one doing the dodging to me. besides, if it is benards fault then **** him, but we need evidence first and to get techincual, Hopkins does deserve the bigger cut as long as its reasonable (he is the champ afterall).
