Hatton has more heart than that "other" across the water ***** will EVER have. I respect him for fighting and losing to the best in that division, one up from Hatton's mind you - but he did it with class from start to finish. The "other" guy should have his "daddy" call Hatton up and ask how to not be a punk. Lol, funny vid though all the same.Comment

actually, there were MANY on this board, who knew as well as floyd knew, that hatton was a c level fighter and was gonna get KOD. and about as MANY said the exact same thing about hatton.if you think they are "disinterested" youre wrong, i think the look is more shock that mayweather did what alot of writers said he shouldnt do, which is stand in the center of the ring and trade, nobody, not me or anyone on this board thought he would just stand in front of him toe to toe dishing out punishment, alot of us expected a wide UD12.
both cotto and hatton were probably amazed gatti was getting beat down like he was and not throwing back.Comment

yeah, i am not a floyd fan but how many other fighters have you heard get on WORLD WIDE TV and say:
"I'm just gonna stick to my game plan, I'm gonna break his ass down and when the time is right I'm gonna knock his ass out. That mother f'er ain't on my level'
AND THEN GET ON THE RING AND DO EXACTLY THAT. Floyd definately gets props for that. that **** was CLASSIC!Comment

Floyd was too arrogant for his own good. The problem with facing opposition like Hatton and Gatti is they make you feel invincible in the ring.Floyd truly believed after that fight he could beat anyone.I don't blame him to an extent because the Hatton hype was immense over in the UK.Judging by the end of the fight when Mayweather broke into tears,it seemed like he almost thought he could of lost that fight.Only in Hattons dream thoyeah, i am not a floyd fan but how many other fighters have you heard get on WORLD WIDE TV and say:

If there is such thing as too much skill for your own good,Mayweather is close to having it!

To say the hype was Immense was an understatement mate, I never brought into the Hype that was Ricky Hatton who was more popular for what he does outside of the ring(Mr nice guy stuff) than inside of it.
When people were like "he would destroy Mayweather to the body" i just sit there and laugh, People really did let there biase rule there heads in that fight.Comment
