duran would probably win, b/c he was better.

quicker of hand and foot, even better upper body/head movement, even better in-fighting skills and probably a slightly better combo puncher too.

It's a hard fight to call, in the sense that both of their prime divisions are different, but only by 5 pounds. (Chavez at 140, and Duran at 135)

In all honesty, to GREAT beards with a great one-punch KO artist (in his prime) and one of the best body punchers in the history of 140. I'd go with Duran in a 12 round fight, but Chavez in a 15 round fight. Close as I can get to touching that one.

This fight would come down to stamina and who would just outlast the other,i would favor Duran by unanimous decision.

I picked Chavez on the poll, but as I said, I can see it going either way.

135 may have been chavez's peak weight. not for resume and time spent there, but for performance.

he never looked better than he did against el chapo, and that was at 135 lbs.

You could make the argument, but it would actually fuel my point that Chavez has a good chance at winning this. He's a top 2 guy at 140, and if you're thinking his prime is 135, he'd be a better PRIME fighter. I'm not saying Duran isn't a top 135er of all time, I'm just saying, it makes it even harder to call with them both in the same weight division, especially if it's Chave at 135. Regardless, still a hard fight, and I prefer the Chavez of 140. (Not talking about his age in his last fight, either)
