I stand strong behind Cotto to defeat Mosley, I don't see no one beating Cotto including Mayweather.. he gets hit and he gets hurt but he bounces back and it happens too many times to be just called luck, there's something that Cotto does to bounce back up from that which can't be explained, not to say it takes any skill to comeback from a whopping shot but but Cotto always seems to come back down to earth when he's knocked into Mars.. I just don't see a coincidence there, I don't see Mosley hitting him harder than what he can take.. 100

I can name three that can beat Cotto
Mosley
Mayweather
Williams
I can name three that can beat Cotto
Mosley
Mayweather
Williams
Williams - he gives up his height advantages too frequently, just watch his fights with Mitchell (I know he didn't phase Paul but just notice the kind of shots he was able to land due to Paul's in-fighting) and Margarito (Tony was catching him with some good ones towards the end), you'll see he gives too many opportunities to his opponents to strike back. he DOES have a high punch out put but there isn't any substantial power that will stop Cotto from walking right threw those million punch combo's of Williams and landing a body blow to neutralize him. he's tall but his arms aren't and with the way he tends to exchange he will see himself in trouble soon against someone who can capitalize on those mistakes..
Mosley - is yet to be seen. I feel Mosley wont win because he too tends to exchange and while yes I DO think he has great speed and power I DON'T think he will be able to knock Cotto out of his cool. his fights with De La Hoya and those whom he overwhelmed were against people who who gave him his same kind of fight, all Mosley did was respond to the punches. Cotto is a bit more tactical in his exchanges and doesn't just wail off like Shane tends to do. I see Shane putting up a GREAT fight, probably one of the toughest for Cotto BUT I just see Shane losing his edge towards the 8th or 9th. Cotto will force him to fight HIS kind of fight and Mosley will abide. I see Mosley having some good rounds but the vicious body punching from Miguel mixed with the 2, 3 and 4 punch combo's from Cotto will prove too much for Shane whom I feel is no longer the same Shane who jumped up 2 weight classes in the past.
Mayweather - he is too skillful, it will work against him because Cotto can cut the ring off, when Cotto catches Floyd on them ropes like the way Oscar did he wont ease up, he wont show emotion and Floyd wont be able to frustrate him the way he did a lot of his opponents. his skills wont be able to tame someone as solid and aggressive like Miguel, also when Floyd throws those 2 and 3 punch combos he will get countered every time with something he has yet to feel. Cotto gets stronger every fight and it will show Nov. 11th against Shane, he is a puncher with skills and a great chin and that is the most deadly combo you can have in Boxing..
Miguel will walk right threw those pot shots from Floyd and he's too ring savvy to just follow Floyd around in circles, he will find Floyd's rhythm and land BIG every chance he gets.. once he cracks open that lock that is Floyd's defense and feels him out for the 1st few rounds it will be open season. Floyd is so skilled that he's too skilled and is set in his ways, he wont be able to break that in just 1 fight and Cotto will force him to switch up and take more risks, risks that will eventually cost Floyd his 0.. just wait and see. we can bet on that too if it ever goes down.. 100

He has to get past Mosley First, then your argument becomes partially valid
