I agree. He needed to be a little more active during that time. But having said that I think he has a chance to be special. It will be interesting to see him against better quality opponents, which sounds like is the next step in his career. 2008 may be a little early for a title shot (if all goes well, 2009 seems more realistic) but who knows? He certainly has the talent to pull it off.

He has only had about 13 pro fights why the rush? By the end of next year he will be exactly where he needs to be, he knows patience is a virtue.

hey arealfighter Andre ward is what your sn says. He spent a lot of time sparring with Manfredo jr. and a little with Jeff Lacy so yea he wasnt as busy fighting as he should've been. He's been helping out quite a bit with the community and probably will get involved in city politics when he's retired. Anyway his fight is goin to be good, a KO victory for Andre, that guy Arreola pulled out of the card damnit. Probably doesn't wanna leave CA to go to ST. Lucia but he's from Riverside smoggy as hell.

allo f his opponents above .500 except one late replacement. other than his lack of fighting (4 times this year, 3 times last year, and 6 times the year before) you can't complain about his pro record. not many fighters will fight the same quality of opponents in their first 14 fights, or 3 years as a pro.

and please... washed up like travis simms by the time he gets popularity? he's 23 and in line for a fight with edison miranda on later in 2008. his managers plan for him to contend for a title when he gets to 20 fights, which they estimate to be in 08 or 09.
