Also the fact that he said he was G.O.A.T was quite frankly disrespectful to the sport of boxing.

agree mayweather is nothing special cory spinks or even zab judah would accomplish all that floyd has if they handpicked their opponents had all that hype and the help from the judges like mayweather castillo 1

And he's been saying that for a LONG time too.

Floyd couldn't carry Shane Mosley's spit bucket. There's a darn good chance even a 36 year old Shane beats him.

Its funny Pernell was a great boxer but people loved him because even as a boxer his fights were much more exciting and he was willing to fight top fighters in their prime. I think once he is done fighting people will forget about him. Sure people will remeber him as a great fighter. Very few fans will go recall mayweather with fondness like they do more exciting fighters like Leonard Pryor and many others in a huge list of fighters. People will never get teary eyed when they think about him years from now, that feeling of being blessed for having seen him fight. The thing is Mayweather is the biggest detrement to his own legacy. Its sad really and a way it sucks because he could have been so much more than he ever will be. He reminds me a lot of Larry Holmes and how he tarnished his own legacy with his attitude, its sad.
actually nobody liked to watch whitaker, and whitaker was much more boring then mayweather because he didn't have any offense, he would go a full round only throwing a couple of punches.

mayweather/gatti...mayweather/corrales were more entertaining then any fight whiatker had

Floyd is the best of his current time. He has the right to think he can beat anyone who ever lived. I don't agree with him but who gives a ****.

And Zab Judah and Cory Spinks would not beat Oscar De La Hoya. Cory Spinks doesn't engage in ANY action and Oscar would break down Zab and take a decision.

Nobody said Floyd was a God dumbass. I said he is the best in the sport today, and your threads can kick rockz.

Cory Spinks would outbox the current Oscar the businessman WITH EASE.

Well I'd call it outboxing. If Cory does it its OUTBOXING. If Floyd does it its RUNNING. Please explain the difference? We know what Cory did in his last fight...
