Hmmm he turned down 8mil to not fight a fighter who has not proved anything yet, and immediately after that got beat by Williams..Yes he turned down that 8mil to make 8 mil for fighting Baldimir. So tell me how much did he lose by not fighing Margerito?
Also Mayweather scared of who ...He has called out Mosley many times and just now mosley starting to say he will fight him..Remember the I cant fight now because of my tooth interview.....Cotto, 2 years ago his managment team said that he was not ready for Mayweather at that time..His own management team.. He is now fighting Hatton, who took a year or so toe get ready for Mayweather, He already beat DLH, Judah,,etc..Who a valid option besides Williams that he has not offered to fight or has fought or in margerito case,,was not worthy of a title fight and especially now since he lost to Williams, he is at the back of the bus..Comment

Ummm... Tony was actually moving up because his contemporaries at 147 had either moved to 54 or refused to fight him. The 1 fight he had at 54 was against Daniel Santos who opened a gash on Tony's eye. The fight was very even until the stoppage due to a cut. Santos was getting bombed at the time of the stoppage. Fight was in PR and santos weighed in the high 170's for a 154 fight.
Most cats at 147(mayweather, mosley, dlh, judah) were running for their lives when people mentioned Tony Margarito. Credit Paul Williams for stepping up and winning a tough fight between the 2 best players at 147. Now everyone that was scared of Tony runs in fear of the freakishly tall Paul Williams. Amazing how someone who doesnt have their facts straight can comment on others boxing IQ. You must've just become a boxing fan after the Mayweather/Gatti fight. Amazing how folks dont remember all the "facts."Comment

I'll beleive it when I see it. If he does that, then we can crown him as one of the greatest we've seen, not before. It looks like he's gonna have to go thru Williams and/or Margarito to do it...
BTW, I think Margarito whether deserved or not will get a crack at Cotto before Mayweather, making him the WBA champ. Williams will mop up Cintron in early 2008. Then we will see if Mr. Mayweather is a man of his word and tries to unify. Cant say that the money wont be there this time. My money is on him retiring or saying that a rematch with DLH or Hatton is much more lucrative. Still Ricky Hatton can end all of this speculation on December 8th with a well timed left hook.Comment

I don't see Hatton doing anything to Floyd. All these ppl are betting on Hatton, you're asking for a miracle. Did you guys see Hatton's face after Collazo? Collazo doesn't even approach PBF's skill. This fight is gonna get stopped by the 8th round due to multiple cuts on Hatton's face from constantly getting hit by PBF's right hand. This match is gonna be so one sided, it's comedy.
I said it before, and I'll say it again, PBF makes all his money beating the crap out of punchers like Hatton.Comment
