Why would Floyd not want to fight Cotto but want to fight Paul williams. He is a bigger "threat" in my opinion

people like me and tredh arent defending him for it as much as we understand why hes saying it, of course i wanna see pbf against cotto and it screws us over that they feel like that about each other, but its like me understanding why chapelle quit his tv show, it screwed the fans over him stopping the show in the middle of production and flat out quitting, but when he explained why he did it, i understood, it doesnt mean i was happy with it.

i think some of you get too caught up in who is defending who and not just looking at a situation like "oh thats why, i understand, but thats ****ed up" instead youre all throwing around words like "*****" and "coward" etc.

We know its ****ed up what pbf is doing, but people have their reasons for doing what they do and there is always **** going on or that has gone on that we dont know about.

I do understand Tredh, but dont u think Floyd is taking a "bratty" approach to the whole situation? Take GBP and Toprank for example. For years they didnt do buisness with eachother. They have learned to put differences aside, like grown men, and now there are mega matchups being made between both promotion companies. Dave Chappelles situation was different. He quit mid-season because he was getting the short end of the stick. Floyd on the other hand would stand to make another 10-15mil off of this fight. Think about it? All this just because Arum has bad-mouthed him? oooooh. Is Floyd really that sensitive? If Cotto were to get passed Shane, the ONLY logical matchup for Floyd WOULD be Cotto. It will make Cotto the #1 WW contender. It will look VERY bad on Floyd's behalf if he were to duck this opportunity.

A man on top of the mountain has the right to fight whosoever he damn well chooses to. If he feels that the risk reward ration isn't befitting of his stature then he will make adjustments and other moves accordingly. He's a business man, not an ignorant "I'm being controlled mind, body, and soul by my promoter" type of fighter. The man is doing like Fiddy said, he's getting money, and doing it his way. Hell, none of us have to like it! He's almost playing the supply and demand tricks on us; waiting until an opponent is so highly regarded that we are almost ******ic about the match up happening. He's a smart man, and that is the main reason he's considered the best fighter in the world; smart decisions and great rewards.

Being a PBF fan has nothing to do with it. Did you read everything I just wrote? Maybe you will get it this way. Would you do business with a man you hate?
