Roy Jones Jr is a conscious All-time great based on accomplishements and ability.

Joe Calzaghe can't touch Roy in greatness. He could fight the washed up Roy Jones in todays but even then his number might change on the loss column.

I've been meaning to tell u this for a while, but I admire you for sticking with your boxers, Lacy and Miranda, after their brutal defeats. Boxing needs fans like you. If all of us had the same kind of loyalty, then fighters wouldn't be avoiding each other in fear of losing and falling off the spotlight.

        What's your point?

I noticed that you didn't dispute that all those guys have more accomplishment than Calzaghe.

Joe is 36. Floyd is 30. Floyd has accomplished TONS MORE.

Why are you even responding to my posts?? You said that Castillo was an "A" fighter against Hatton.

Honestly, these arguments never make any sense. So Calzaghe has not had as impressive a career as Roy Jones. What's your point? That doesn't mean Calzaghe isn't a great fighter, one of the best active fighters and one of the best in the short history of the SMW division. You guys talk as if 99.99% of fighters are crap. Gimme a ****ing break. You're not boxing fans.

Nobody said he is not great. He is probably the greatest supper-middleweight fighter of all time considering that division hasn't been around for long.

              He isn't a All-time great like Roy Jones on a p4p scale.

I'm responding to the thread creator anyway, who was trashing B-hop and Roy and pumping up Joe.

              He is nothing special.

Yeah, I don't agree with the thread starter completely either. I think the money isn't always in the best fights, and that's too bad, but you can't always blame the fighters for that. That's more a problem with the way the industry is run.

I just find all of these "tear Calzaghe down" posts, especially by Dios, to be pretty ******.

Edit: Oh yeah, and Dios has been saying Calzaghe is not great for a long time now. Not that it has anything to do with you.

I made one calzaghe thread, And in that thread, I said that CalSlappy was a very good fighter and deserved a top 4 P4p slot.

You guys take a "Calzaghe is not on Roy's level" comment as me tearing down Joe. Such is your manlove for the Greasy Welshman.

Hatton is a good fighter. But he isn't on FMJ's level.

I don't love Calzaghe. I don't think he's at the level of Roy Jones either. What's the point of bringing it up, every time there's a thread about Calzaghe. Right after his fight with Kessler, which was a good fight and a good performance, you start a thread saying he wasn't impressive, tearing him down. What's the point if you actually think he's a good fighter deserving a top p4p spot?

No doubt Calzaghe is crazy overrated and so is his hyped up opposition.. Kessler is a nobody and Lacy was a 1 dimensional power house; other than that, Calzaghe's accomplishments are non-existent compared to Jones, Hopkins, etc...
