This fight is a toss up IMO, but, ask yourself this, when was the last time a young upcoming hard body puncher pushed Mosley in the ring and made him fight every second of every round. Of course Shane has the ability of turning it up in a hurry and has decent power to go with it, but when was the last time he KOd a good fighter? What difference does it make when you fought great fighters years ago? Cotto fights good opposition 3 or 4 times a year, he lives in the gym and is in his prime. Cotto's heavy handed, he breaks shoulders, chins, facial bones and is in the best shape of his life, Mosley is 36 years old and will wear down. Mosley's best shot is to stick and move work up a big lead and try to catch a desperate Cotto and take him out, cause otherwise it will be all Cotto after the 8th.

Why the **** does a great upcoming fight have to be negative because of what some people might say?I can already see it, if Cotto wins, Shane is shot, Cotto is and always been a dirty fighter, PBF or Hatton will kill him, blah, blah, blah.
If Shane wins thou, what can Cotto fans say? He's fighting a former p4p fighter,bigger man, bigger name.
But.... For some reason odds makers think Cotto will take it, should be a good one.
**** that......no matter who wins it was 2 great fighters in the ring doing their thing.....if Mosley looks obviously old and shot so what...it is what it is....but I seriously doubt thats going to be the case.Comment

On this website who knows what will be said. After the Hatton fight I may avoid this site no matter who wins it, just because the endless bitching is barely tolerable.

the more cotto comes forward the more he will give Mosley chances to counter him with a vicious right hand... Cotto has weak defense and his motto is ... I will take 2 to give one or I will take 2 to give 2... cotto does not have the chin for that type of fight man... cotto has lasted off of pure determination and heart ... NOTHING ELSE ... but your body will let you know when it cant get up anymore ... which will be evident this weekend... cotto is an average boxer but with more heart and determination than anyone I know... but man ... a right hand from mosley will change that real quick ...
Torres hurt cotto because he wanted to exchange with him ... Than cotto had to rely on his boxing skills and that pulled him out of the fight... do i have to bring up how many times cotto has been rocked ???? zab , torres, corley...
all who are not on the same level as shane mosley ...
and to answer you question about who has pressued mosley ...
vargas pressued him and was hitting him like crazy in rounds 4,5, and 6 ... he was pushing mosley and backing him up , low blowing him and everything ...still mosley landed his right hand ... cotto is just begging for a counter left hook ... or a straight right hand ... mosley has fought bigger, better and faster guys... shane will make easy work of cotto...
I know this fight is going to be a one sided ass whoopin with the ref stopping the fight in the 10 round ..maybe the 8th...Comment

Fair points up to Vargas, Vargas couldn't be more shot when he faced Shane, he threw about 40 puncher per round and didn't cut the ring off effectively, not to mention how slow he now is. Vargas wasn't a shadow of himself and you know it.
About the one sided ass whopin, we'll have to see about that, Cotto has gotten a lot better since the Torres fight, no more weight problems and his chin has gotten better too.Comment
