Actually the reason why Dawson was at the Tarver-Santiago fight is because he is still looking for a match up with Tarver, which means Dawson will have to give up his WBC belt since the WBC ordered Dawson to fight Diaconu or be stripped of his title. And no Dawson isn't ducking Diaconu because they were suppose to fight in Sept 29 until that idiot Diaconu postponed the fight with his injury. Of course a Tarver-Dawson fight might not happen since Tarver will just forget about fighting him.

Hopkins will soon be 43, he fights once a year, he is trying to maximize the dollars in the 1 or 2 good fights he has left. Tarver is not in that picture. Plus he was SOOOOO dominant in the first fight, who in the hell would pay to see the rematch?
