Second De la Hoya can pass for damn near white which makes him even more acceptable. This list can go on forever. Tito never even got that much more famous after he beat De la Hoya.

He wont. Cotto's too shy, too reserved. Even if his English was perfect, he just isn't made for the spotlight. Tito worked the crowd, smiled, bumped his chest like they said in the countdown. After every knockdown he'd run to the ring post jump up and pose to the crowd. He was a showman. Cotto is not, and he doesn't have to be.
