It's because most U.K. fans are trying to create a fantasy world where Calzaghe is at the top of the P4P lists...........because he beat Jeff Lacy and Mikkel Kessler.

I've noticed lately that many posters are bashing the US as a country.

I won't mention names but phrases like

"Lets see an american champ dominate at age 35"
"I can't wait till China becomes number one... You're dollar is worth **** now"
"Most American fighters are overrated, and most non-american fighters are underrated."
"Because he is American Which country do you think determines the p4p rankings"
"Hopkin's best WINS have all come against Guys That Moved up in weight* ... That is a real achivement. Tarver was/is overated because he Beat RJJ who was overated becasue of Roids"

What is with all the hate? Why do you hate the US so much?
Dont discredit hopkins and our fighters.. saying were cheaters.
Um, if I'm not mistaken, England is the country that has the highest steriod use by a landslide.
If you discredit hopkins (who im NOT a big fan of), then u should **** on calzaghe. Hopkins has a much more accomplished career.

Most of the stuff you posted there was a response to to overblown, arrogant US posters, which there is a fair few of.

There's a fair few from every country, but I'd say the US leads, followed by the English, then a toss-up between Mexican, Peurto Rico, & the Phillipines.


Personally prefer to avoid posts that degenerate into Nationalist bull**** & concentrate on a fighters merits.
