The "new" Cotto is something more like a serial rapist or drug addict.Comment

"Every boxer is going to get hit in the ring. Everyone’s going to get hurt some time during a fight. It’s just a question of what you’re going to do with it. Are you going to respond or are you going to fall? And I think that I responded every time I’ve been hurt in the ring. And the question I have for them, what will happen to Shane Mosley when he gets hurt in the ring? Will he respond to it? I know I have," Cotto said.
Cotto and Mosley have been respected gentlemen until 10 days before the fight. Jack Mosley started talking ****. Cotto was answering, period. Cotto's comparison with Judah had to do with speed, but the writer fail to specify that fact... (which might be true). Cotto knows he is going to get hurt. And I agree with him... Does Mosley got what it takes to respond to Cotto's damaging style??? I don't think so.
Mosley is one of the best fighters out there and probably the best in the 35-40 years old bracket. He is dangerous and has proven so for years. Cotto will have his hands full on November 10th. But what most of you fail to see is the fact that Cotto is not as slow as some state. I watch his fight with Zab Ju-dah and if he can keep that speed agaisnt Mosley, Mosley will need "in-lne" skates to stay away from Cotto.
Cotto will hunt Mosley and hurt him to get the win. It will be a matter to see if WayWeather Jr. has the cojones (he has shown, he lacks them) to fight CoTTo.Comment

Yeah those comments have generated a lot of dispute in Bairoa camp. Miguel, and most of his very close guys ( uncle dad brother etc ) have been half assing the training saying Mosley can't stand body pressure. Thankfully I wansnt the only one that debated that Mosley is not a guy to take as if he were a mediocre. Because we very well know he's not. Just because he's 36 that means ****, thats just ******ed all the way around. I hope the best for Miguel, but with that attitude, he wont win. Tons of people have told him many times to take him seriously, but whatever, its his fight. If he loses, his mistake. Regarding what addy said before or couple of posts ago, I dont think Shane is REALLY considering testing Cotto out in a slug fest. He's too fast, he can just hit and run all night long and win ez. And if he does, like he said, the **** might just hit the fan. drama
Second, Miguel Cotto devours Boxers. Being cute and trying to run around the ring quite simply does not work against Miguel. Try watching some of his fights. If Mosley is planning on playing hit and run he's planning on losing. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he realizes this the way that most people do at this point. The likelihood that Mosley's srategy is to outbox Cotto is next to nowhere. He's going to outbrawl him. Whether they go in planning that, or Cotto starts landing his power shots; Mosley will stand and fight. Shane is renown for understanding scoring and momentum, and he doesn't like to be hit without returning the favor.Comment

Mosley isn't KOing anyone in this fight, end of ****ing story. All the people going for Mosley should just be realistic and say he's winning by decision, stop with the KO mess, he's not a monster puncher anymore.Comment

Against Zab, i Knew Cotto would be the boss and get a stoppage BUT had Visions of Zab Detonating a Left cross on Cotto to end the fight (he actually did stun em a few times) it was a fight that Miguel SHOULD hav won but Zab COULD hav won!
Mosley is a different kind of animal - He hits hard and OFTEN! he WILL FIGHT! And he needs to coz u aint gonna beat Miguel Cotto boxing, he shuts that ring down on u and Blasts the **** out of u! It takes a puncher who has hand speed and the willingness to trade to beat Cotto. And Shane is all of that!
I still think Cotto will be too much and pull out the win tho, this fight will be a War mark my words!Last edited by The Surgeon; 11-05-2007, 12:15 PM.Comment
