Which are you voting for Fight of the Year between the Pavlik - Jermaine Taylor fight and the Calzaghe - Mikkel Kessler fight?


I'm picking the Pavlik/Taylor fight because of the drama associated with Pavlik's knockdown and subsequent KO of Taylor. But, the Cal/Kess fight holds some historical impact, so it really is a toss up.

Where's Vazquez vs Marquez II, Pavlik vs Miranda, Katsidis vs Amonsot,etc.

Out of those two fights I picked Pavlik vs Taylor, it will probably win FOTY because the Undisputed Middleweight Championship was at stake. Calzaghe/Kessler was a great fight, but it wasn't quite fight of the year.

It has a pretty damn good chance. Some of those Puerto Rican fans are crazy mofos, they might riot when Cotto gets knocked out.

those two fights were awesome...but Vasquez - Marquez II is just unbeatable imo that fight was just too incredible.

Vazquez-Marquez 2 should win....unless theres arobbery like in 1996, when Barrera-McKinney shouldve gotten it but they gave it to Tyson-Holyfield...in that case Pavlik-Taylor would be the robbery winner...

I agree that Vazquez-Marquez II is fight of the year, but if I had to pick between those two choices I'd pick Taylor-Pavlik which was a more shocking fight if not as historically important.
