    Joe Calzaghe is the true #1 P4P fighter in boxing

    I believe that Calzaghe is the number 1 p4p fighter in boxing hands down. He is the greatest Super Middleweight of all time and he has been the champ for over 10 years with 21 title defences. Joe wins his superfights convincingly and leaves no doubt about who the winner is, are you listening Mayweather. Joe has a mixture of Floyd's skills and Pacquiao's speed and aggression, he is a far more complete fighter than Floyd and Pacman. Unfortunately, the Nationalist Ring p4p rankings will keep Floyd at #1 and Pacman at #2 because they're predjudiced against European fighters. The Ring needs to realize that Europe has taken over boxing and will continue to dominate for the rest of existence.

    Dude, firstly great win for Joe Calz against Kessler. However He has fought ONLY 2 champions or undefeated top fighters, Jeff Lacey and Kessler. He won his first belt in a vacancy fight. Warren then milked Joe for 35 fights.

    PBF and Pac have by FAR fought the tougher and more dangerous competition.

    Pac:

    Barrera, Morales, JMM > Jeff Lacey, Kessler (Eubank was shot when Joe beat him).

    PBF:

    Corrales, Castillo, DLH (impressive because of weight fought at), Hernandez, Chavez (very dangerous and highly touted at time of fight), Zab

    Joe:

    Lacey, Kessler, whats his next best win? Robin Reid.

          1) Calzaghe has never beaten a p4p ranked fighter
          2) Calzaghe has never beaten a hall of fame fighter
          3) He's only beaten 3 or 4 former champions (of course, compared to other top p4p fighters, that isn't ****)

              numbers 1 and 2 are just terms americans dreamed up so they can make their fighters more marketable.

              p4p = meaningless term

              hall of fame ? i wonder who decides who goes in there.

                Chavez was for real boxing fans seen as a dangerous, young talented fighter. But even if you dont consider Chavez an impressive win against a talented young fighter the other fights alone are still greater.

                    These are cop-outs used to avoid the fact that Calzaghe's resume is over crowded with bums.
