I heard Mayweather offered to fight Calzaghe in his bathroom in Wales for only 5% of the purse but Joe ducked him.

I don't agree with your latter statement. If B-Hop could sell 60k in Philly, wouldn't a good number of Philly fans be flying to his fights a la Mancunians with Hatton and Youngstown residents with Pavlik?

As per your former statement, I'd imagine the license fees in Vegas would be enormous for a Hopkins-Calzaghe pay-per-view. You won't see Calzaghe in a pay-per-view from Wales because of the time difference. The main event would start at 11 or 11:30 p.m. eastern, meaning dawn would be only a couple hours away in Wales.

If Philadelphia fans can find it in their hearts to boo Santa Claus, what would they do to Max Kellerman?

Joe has no reason to fight over here. He already sells out bigger places in his backyard then he could sell out here, and he is a legend over there. What would the point be? Do any boxers really care about being accepted by Americans anymore? The only reason anyone wanted to come to America in the first place was to get big money and fight big names. Joe makes big money, sells out 50,000+ seats in his fights and has just destroyed the last two "big name" fighters that came to him. If I was Joe I wouldnt give half a **** about fighting in America. Would it be cool to see? Sure it would, but not if he fights Hopkins which he most likely will. That would have to be one ugly wrestling match if B-hop wants a chance at winning.
