PBF has indeed won wolrd titles a 5 weights or so, but until he totally cleans up a division and beats a number of prime fighters to stay at the top then people are going to question his ability.

Cherry picking fights just so you can pick up a belt and and say...Hey another world title at another weight....is not as impressive as beating all the best fighters in the division...especially if it is done over a long period of time.
PBF has not had any tough fights against "in their prime" opposition for years, and when he does fight...he steals rounds hear and there to get the paper victory..

Calzaghe reign for a decade and his recent victories against the best in the division at the age of 35 has to put him at the top of the P4P tree..If PBF beats Hatton convincingly, not another ODH re-hash, he goes back on top...

PBF cleaned out 135 and 130 and is undisputed at 147 so you cant really say that nor can you question his ability, PBF has had 2 fights...2 fights where he dominated, but because he did it in a fashion that didint suit YOU his whole career is judged by 2 fights he dominated, i think thats unfair. as many times as floyd has gone toe to toe and demolished opponents, his judgement is passed on him based on 2 fights.

I seriously cant believe we now are now comparing Calzaghe to mayweather.

        In a nutshell.

        Mayweather:5 weight world champ,
beat Castillo x2, corrales, De La Hoya Judah, hernadez,

        Calzaghe 1 weight world champ.

        Beat Lacy, Eubank and Kessler.

Let not even talk about skills.

Seriously Calzaghe is good, but this is a step too far.

Calzaghe has produced two world class performances in the last 18 months. Mayweather has produced none.

he beats everyone in the super middleweight division not too hard. my grandma went undefeated in that division for 7 years till she was robbed of a decision against sven ottke.

What have you done for me lately?

Beating an aging Oscar is not better than beating Kessler in his prime. Not only that, but Joe's win was more impressive in nature. Joe's speed allowed him to do great things, but unlike Floyd, he is not content with just looking calm and collected. He takes many risks and tries to hurt people.

And like I said, I do this based on the classic definition of who beats who given they were the same weight. Joe beats Floyd, right now, any day of the week if they weigh the same.

well.....i mean, to be honest man, floyd having dominated the undisputed welterweight champion, and fighting a guy who was faster and stronger than him (judah), and beating probably the best fighter at 154 in De La Hoya, you have to ask yourself, if hatton had done these things with the factors that play into them, and the titles at stake one of them being the undisputed championship of the world, would you be saying the same things? especially if hatton was 4 weights above his normal weight of 140, which puts him at 160.
