You remember this, the WBA's new plan to introduce half points? (Why not just make more use of the existing ten, but never mind...)
I think this is a good idea, and was pondering what recent bouts this would effect the most, the idea being that close rounds only get 0.5 difference, wider rounds the usual 10-9.
The one that most springs to mind right now is RJJ-Tarver I. Tarver won his rounds big, whereas Roy just edged the majority.
Thoughts......?
