ICEMAN - What do you think?

You get a lot of respect as an ex pro boxer, as a trainer, and as a boxing writer..

Unfortunately, Calzaghe did not face the right competition in his time and we only get to appreciate his greatness during his final career performances.
In you opinion who do you think from the past or current greats beat Calzaghe? (RJJ, Hagler, Benn, Moore, Hopkins)

If you consider this opinion "official" and don't want to go on record.. I guess we can understand.

Calzaghe is a handful for any of those guys.... I do think at 168 at their best Roy and James were elite.... I think Joe might have been able to outbusy and outbox James but Roy, Roy was on another planet at 168.

That's the honest and fair assessment. No way Joe beats RJJ at 168, but he is a notch above what Toney was.

Yeah but i wouldn't count JT out you never know when he will pull a Mike Nunn or get mad like he did with Mike McCallum.

As far as Roy Jones goes, Calz has a ton of seed but it's not that 'Superman' Roy kind of speed.

Jones and Hagler do him over but Benn was made for Calzaghe being low or looking to load

I find it weird how there are so many Mayweather fans that hate Calzaghe. Even Mayweather acknowledged that Calzaghe's performance against Lacy was impressive. I think it all stems from this weird fighting over who's lb for lb the number one fighter.

I'd also like to note that I find it ****** how people use Calzaghe's performance against Kessler as a put-down against Mayweather, saying Mayweather shouldn't be so cautious. Both guys are fantastic fighters, and it's pretty much impossible to argue that either one of them are not elite level fighters.

You know what, I take that back actually because Hagler walked around in the 150's while Calzaghe has always walked around at around 195 (without looking the least bit chubby)

                    I respect that opinion.

But how about a younger Nard?
